Are “restaurant values” becoming the next compatibility check box on your dating profile?
As Chick-fil-A and Starbucks seem to be on the forefront of the age of “Restaurant Values” now entering the field of identity politics, I’m wondering if restaurants will become to the new astrological signs for date and relationship compatibility? Imagine, “Hey baby, what’s your sign? “Applebee’s?” Oh, I’m more compatible with a Red Lobster.” Check out his chart from the LA times about political affiliation and voting tendency based on what type of restaurant or food chain you tend to frequent.
“In other words, this tax return shows a portfolio that is not structured to yield zero taxes. We spoke to a number of tax experts, all of whom said that, given Romney’s current portfolio, it was highly improbable for Romney to have had 10 years with tax-free returns — though there could have been one or two years with little or no taxes.”
Factcheck.org report that went on to give Harry Reid’s inference that Romney paid “Zero taxes for 10 years” is likely untrue (and worthy of four Pinocchios). Note: Factcheck’s report doesn’t support that Romney didn’t pay zero taxes at times. Just over 10 years.
