Those of you who know the story of Batman, know that young Bruce Wayne decided to become the Dark Knight when his parents, Thomas and Martha Wayne, were shot as they walked home from the movie theater, a showing a Bruce Wayne’s favorite movie. From that day, Bruce Wayne swore an oath to rid the city of the evil that had taken his parents’ lives. He became Batman, The Dark Knight. What he didn’t do was stop going to see movies.

He rightly blamed the person who killed his parents. Not the fact his family went to the movie theater. In that same sense, for those I’m hearing who don’t want to go to see The Dark Night Rises, as if for some reason the movie The Dark Knight Rises has offended them personally. Let’s keep the real villains and danger in perspective. The person who did this was crazy. Not the movie.
