An amazing argument why copyright and patent law are destroying the public good by destroying social evolution. That’s the ability on the public to eventually copy, evolve ideas and create an environment where the best ideas thrive and survive. As opposes to the survivor simply being the idea that’s protected. And why companies are increasing building their business revenue from suing by collecting patents than actually making a great product. Or even many cases never making a product at all.
