Analysis of media issues, politics and current events.
Comics, like any movie or book, often captures old attitudes and beliefs and preserves them like amber. Take a look at politically incorrect comic frames from our past.
Wonder Woman. Apparently back then one of her perceived super powers was to think.
The “man without fear” clearly isn’t afraid of sexual harassment.
Doctor Doom, evil. But in a jive turkey kinda way.
Now dear, go make us some bat sandwiches. And never mind I’m exposing a minor to danger.

Matt Murdock was a lawyer. You think he’s going to smack Natasha (Black Widow) on the butt if there’s a chance of lawsuit? She was gf, not employee.
Golden age Marvel was very conscious of the women’s liberation movement. To the point of having Natasha complain about something that wasn’t really sexist–just like a real girl!
I think I have a copy of that one in storage someplace. Mouldering not far from “The Incredible Hulk” #181.
